Description

Roman Pro Hats originated from Roman Art Embroidery, which had previously been a supplier for KM Pro Cap Company, a prominent baseball cap producer. When KM Pro ceased operations in 1976, Roman acquired much of their equipment and began producing caps. By 1977, Roman Pro became a notable supplier of baseball caps, providing official on-field hats for teams like the New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles, and Boston Red Sox throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s. Their hats are distinguished by high-quality leather sweatbands, which are durable and sought-after for their comfort and longevity. Roman Pro continued its influence in baseball cap production through the 1990s, even creating the Cooperstown Collection, which was popular among retro and throwback cap enthusiasts  .
