Post-Facelift - Post-July2004, Has small circular clear reverse light in both of the rear corner light clusters and single central RED reversing light in the rear bumper. Distinguishing between Generation 1 (Gen 1) and Generation 2 (Gen 2) BMW Minis: Generation 1 (Gen 1) - Has a normal Ignition Key, and the Headlights attached to bonnet so when bonnet opened, headlights point to the sky. Generation 2 (Gen 2) - Has a Circular Keyless Ignition Fob, and the Headlights attached to car body so when bonnet opened, you have two holes in bonnet where the headlights were. Note: 99% of Gen 1 Mini parts will NOT fit the Gen 2 Mini.
