BENEFITS: Flexible bond Durable Long lasting repair Natural feel finish Easy to use Cost effective CONTENTS: Leather Glue Black– 15ml Leather Heavy Filler Compound (BLACK) - 15ml Application brush Fabric sub patch – 10 x 10cm Wooden spatula Manual DIRECTIONS: Prepare the area to be treated by scraping off any burned edges and cutting off any rough / frayed particles. Ensure that the leather is completely clean and dry before applying the leather glue. Install a sub-patch if necessary. To do that, cut the patch to about 1cm all round larger than the crack or hole. Use your fingers to carefully spread the hole open. Push the sub-patch into the hole and use the spatula to position and flatten it. Using the application brush apply glue between leather and sub patch as well as on the edges of the crack or hole. Draw the two sides together. Press firmly to adhere the sub-patch to the glue. Do not allow the patch to move or slip; hold it steadfast to the leather until it dries. Any excess glue can be wiped away with your fingers or cloth whilst it is still wet. WHEN SUB PATCH IS NOT NECESSARY (SMALL CUTS) Open the cut out by squeezing either side of it with your fingers. Dip the application brush into the leather glue so there is a small amount of glue on the end. Dab the cut with the brush length ways to apply the glue. Release your grip and push either side of leather back together again. Gently press the cut down. Leave it for 12-24 hours Next step: Apply a medium coat of repair compound. Use a hairdryer to speed up drying time. Will cure at low, medium or high heat. Gently sanding can be done immediately after curing. For graining, apply a thin layer. Heat and press in grain. STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store in a dry, cool and airy place. Keep from freezing and extreme heat. Keep locked up and away from the reach of children.
